As an MES Business Analyst, you play a key role in the digital transformation of manufacturing companies. You help clients in implementing and supporting the Tulip MES platform, enabling them to manage their production processes more efficiently. You work closely with key users, such as process engineers, to optimize digital work instructions, traceability, inventory management, and quality control. Your efforts directly contribute to better shopfloor efficiency and process optimization.
To achieve this, you will be both functionally and technically involved. You analyze production processes, translate customer needs into smart MES solutions, and support their implementation. Within a young, dynamic, and communicative team, you work on international projects and regularly travel to production sites across Europe (depending on the project phase, for a few days every 2 to 4 weeks).
Your key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support MES applications within Tulip.
- Analyze and optimize production processes in collaboration with key users.
- Implement Tulip MES solutions with a focus on traceability, product genealogy, and shopfloor efficiency.
- Guide and train clients to ensure they maximize the benefits of MES.
- Perform both functional and technical modifications – basic knowledge of SQL and JavaScript is a plus, but most tools are visual and intuitive.
- Collaborate with international teams and occasionally travel to customer sites across Europe.
Besides your technical and functional expertise, you are a strong communicator and team player. You guide key users and stakeholders throughout the whole process and ensure that the solution perfectly matches their needs. Your ability to make processes transparent and support customers makes all the difference - to go the extra mile together, all about people!
Competências
- At least 2 years of experience in discrete manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of MES systems, preferably Tulip.
- Affinity with application development and interest in digital tools.
- Prior experience with SQL is a strong advantage, and you are open to learning JavaScript.
- You take ownership, value quality, and understand the importance of efficiency and agility for our clients.
- Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch are a plus).
